What we collect
We collect information you choose to give us, plus limited technical data from analytics and advertising tools. We ask only for what we need to respond to you and scope the work.
Request a Quote form. When you request a quote on this site, the form asks for:
- Name (required)
- Company (optional)
- Phone (required)
- Email (required)
- Service type, such as a standpipe flow test, hydrostatic test, or hydrant flow test (required)
- Location or state of the project
- Project details, in your own words (required)
- Whether you want text message updates (a checkbox you can uncheck)
Contact form
The Contact form asks for your name and email (required), a phone number (optional), a subject, your message (required), and whether you want text message updates. If you opt in to texts, message and data rates may apply, and you can reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe.
Meta and Google lead forms
We may run ads on Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and Google that include a lead form. If you submit one of those forms, the platform shares with us the details you entered, such as your name, phone number, email address, and similar contact details, along with your answers to any questions on the form (for example, the type of test or the property location). Meta and Google also handle that data under their own privacy policies, linked below.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors find and use our pages, such as which pages are viewed, roughly where visits come from, and what device or browser is used. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser to do this. We use these reports to improve the site, not to identify you personally.
We may also use the Meta Pixel, a small piece of code from Meta that sets cookies so we can measure how our Meta ads perform and show relevant ads to people who visited the site. Where the Meta Pixel is in use, it is covered by this policy and by Meta’s own privacy policy.
How we use your information
We use the information you send to answer your inquiry, prepare a quote, schedule and perform testing, send reports, and follow up about the work you asked about. If you opt in to text messages, we use your phone number to send updates about your request.
We use analytics and advertising data in aggregate to see which pages and ads are useful and to improve the site.
We never sell personal data.
Third parties that help us
We use a small number of outside services to run the site. Each one handles data under its own privacy policy:
- Supabase stores the submissions from our quote and contact forms.
- Vercel hosts this website, so it processes standard web request data (such as IP address and browser type) when pages load.
- Google provides Google Analytics for site usage reports, and Google Ads lead forms when we run them.
- Meta provides Facebook and Instagram lead forms, and the Meta Pixel where it is in use.
How long we keep inquiry data
We keep inquiry data only as long as we need it to respond to you, quote and complete the work, and keep normal business records. If you ask us to delete your information, we will delete it, except for anything we need to keep for ordinary business or legal record-keeping, and we will tell you if that applies.
Access and deletion requests
To ask what information we have about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted, contact us by email or phone. Tell us the name, email, or phone number you used so we can find your records. We may ask you to confirm a detail so we only act on requests from the right person.
Your cookie choices
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; most browsers let you refuse all cookies or only third-party cookies. You can also opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser add-on, manage Google ad personalization in your Google account, and manage how Meta uses data for ads in your Meta ad settings.
Children
This site is for property owners, managers, contractors, and fire protection professionals. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our forms, tools, or practices change. When we do, we will post the new version on this page and change the effective date below. Please check back from time to time.
